IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE NAMO BUDDHA SEMINAR
APRIL 14-23, 2019
As you may know, Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche injured himself in a fall earlier this year.
Unfortunately his injury is healing slowly and Rinpoche is still experiencing pain while sitting.
Thus Thrangu Rinpoche regrets very much that he will be unable to teach at the upcoming
Namo Buddha Seminar. Rinpoche had hoped to be much better by now but he needs to go
abroad for further medical treatment. He has requested Drupon Khenpo Lhabu Rinpoche
to teach during the ten-day seminar.
Drupon Khenpo Lhabu Rinpoche is not only retreat master for Thrangu Rinpoche's monks
but also oversees many foreign retreatants from Asia and the West in long retreats. He has travelled extensively in Asia, North America, Europe, UK and Africa to teach and is becoming widely known and respected as a true master of the Kagyu Lineage.

We are also pleased to announce that Tulku Damcho Rinpoche will teach on The Seven
Points of Mind Training during the seminar. Tulku Damcho is a reincarnated lama of
Thrangu Monastery in Tibet and is one of Thrangu Rinpoche’s most devoted disciples.
He completed a three-year retreat under Drupon Khenpo Lhabu Rinpoche. For many years
he has been teaching and performing dharma activities for disciples abroad and also for
Buddhist sanghas in Nepal.
