ANNUAL MANI DRUBCHEN
APRIL 1 - 11, 2013

The Mani Drubchen which is held annually in the spring at Shree Mangal Dvip School shrineroom in Boudha, Nepal is sponsored by Thrangu Rinpoche's Hong Kong center. It is performed by hundreds of Rinpoche's monks and nuns and also hundreds of people of the lay community. The goal is for everyone to recite many millions of the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum".

On the last day of the drubchen Rinpoche gives Chenreyzig Empowerment to many hundreds of people. The blessing line goes on for hours. Attending was Zuri Tulku, a tulku of Thrangu Monastery who lives in Bhutan. He then sponsored a three day Mahakala puja.
