INAUGURATION AND CONSECRATION
OF SATEK MONASTERY, NAR MANAG, NEPAL

In July 2013 many of Thrangu Rinpoche's monks and nuns travelled to Nar Manang for the consecration ceremonies of Satek Monastery lasting almost two weeks. Tulku Damcho was officiating.

Nar Manang, located close to the border of Tibet, is a remote area that is difficult to reach. The local people are devoted Buddhists and their culture is mainly like Tibetan culture. Many Thrangu Rinpoche's monks, nuns and also school children at Shree Mangal Dvip in Boudha come from this area.
