Today (Nov 3) according to the advice of His Holiness the Karmapa, the entire Thrangu Sangha requested the leaders of the Tibetan Buddhist lineages to participate in the cremation ceremony of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha.

Today at 10am, His Eminence Jangtse Choje Gosok Rinpoche arrived and paid respects to Kyabje Rinpoche’s Kudung stupa, statue, and thangka.

At 2pm, His Holiness the 43rd Sakya Trizin Gyana Vajra Rinpoche arrived, and at 4pm, His Eminence Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche arrived at the monastery.

They were grandly greeted by the Sangha and lay devotees, and then invited into the main shrine hall. The Venerable Choje Lama led khenpos and lamas to present offerings of body, speech, and mind to the Rinpoches, and made prayers for their long life.

Likewise this morning, the Venerable Tenga Rinpoche arrived at Namo Buddha and paid respects to Rinpoche’s Kudung, and His Eminence Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche and His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche. In addition, the grand Chakrasamvara Puja was complete today with the dissolution of the mandala.
