Yum Sonam Chuki, Ven. Sungtrul Rinpoche, and Ven. Chungtrul Rinpoche came to pay their respects to the Kudung

Today (July 20) according to the instructions of His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa, the Venerable Lodro Nyima Rinpoche led the Sangha of Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery to conduct the fifth day of the Hevajra practice for the seventh week of the Venerable Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Parinirvana Puja. From 3.30pm to 6pm, the Venerable Choje Lama and the Venerable Tulku Damcho led a group of monastics to conduct the Vajrasattva of the Secret Essence (Sangtik Dorsem) practice before Rinpoche’s Kudung.

Yum Sonam Chuki, mother of Her Majesty the Gyaltshuen Ashi Jetsun Pema Wangchuck of Bhutan, the Venerable Peling Lhalung Sungtrul Rinpoche, and the Venerable Chungtrul Rinpoche came to at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery to pay their respects. They were warmly received by the members of the Parinirvana Puja Committe, led by the Venerable Kyabje Zuri Rinpoche and the Venerable Choje Lama. They paid respects to Rinpoche’s Kudung and performed the guru yoga practice. They were then invited to the main shrine hall where the Committee made offerings of body, speech, and mind. Peling Lhalung Sungtrul Rinpoche also made offerings to the Parinirvana Puja and the Sangha.

The Venerable Rabsang Rinpoche of Drikung Rinchenling Monastery came and attended the Puja. Lama Nyima, the representative of the Venerable Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche arrived from Australia and made offerings to the Sangha. Khenpo Kiran Bhajracharya of Shree Adhi Padma Gonpa in Bhaktapur visited and led 64 devotees to practice guru yoga at the Tara shrine hall. Likewise, many other devotees came to pay respects to the Kudung of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha.
