Through the grace, blessing and immense compassion of The Very Venerable 9th Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche and the sponsors, the Thrangu family was able to help those in need during this Covid-19 pandemic and also help those who were suffering from the many floods and landslides in rural Nepal.
Thrangu Relief team, under Namo Buddha Buddhist Meditation and Educational Center, successfully delivered Covid -19 emergency food relief packages, which has rice, oil, lentils, salt, milk powder etc. to the destitute families of Namo Buddha municipality, Nar, Chame, Boudha, Jorpati, Pashupati, and many other places organizing various relief programs in various dates.
The team also handed over 200 oxygen concentrators to the Nepal Government to fight the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Nepal.
The relief team distributed a month’s rations to 515 needy families of Kathmandu’s slums, and supported 2 months’ rations to three different children’s homes in Kathmandu.
