Today, on May 9th, 2024, commencing from the first day of Saga Dawa, under the guidance of Kyabgon Gyalway Gyaltsap Drung Goshir Rinpoche, we gather to perform the sadhanas of Bhurkumkuta and Dorje Drolo for the swift return of the incarnation of the Very Venerable Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.

This morning at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery in Namo Buddha, the statue of V.V. Thrangu Rinpoche was invited from Rinpoche’s residence to the main shrine hall, where monastics made khata offerings. The Venerable Choje Lama Rinpoche and the Venerable Tulku Damcho Rinpoche led a gathering of more than 650 attendees, comprising khenpos, lamas, resident lamas from overseas dharma centers, monastics, and lay practitioners, in the practice of the Bhurkumkuta sadhana, written by the great tertön Orgyen Dechen Lingpa.
