According to the instructions given by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, in order to pacify all obstacles to the swift return of the reincarnation of the glorious root guru, the Very Venerable Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, monastics of Thrangu Monastery are conducting the practices of Guru Bumtsok, Mahakala Bumtsok, and Tara Bumtsok.
This morning on June 7, 2025, at Thrangu Monastery in Namo Buddha, the Very Venerable Tulku Damcho Rinpoche, Chakzola, khenpos and lamas of the monastery welcomed the precious statue of Kyabje Thrangu Rinpoche from the labrang to the main shrine hall.
Over three hundred khenpos, lamas, and monastics performed the hundred thousand accumulations through the Embodiment of All Jewels (Konchok Chidü) sadhana.
The retreat lamas at the reliquary stupa shrine hall took the Mahayana Sojong vows and continued the Drime Namnyi puja.
In the afternoon, the Very Venerable Lodrö Nyima Rinpoche especially came to Namo Buddha for the consecration of the reliquary stupa. The assembly of tulkus, khenpos, lamas, and monastics warmly welcomed Rinpoche, who paid homage to the reliquary stupa and presided over the Drime Namnyi puja, completing the filling of the reliquary stupa.
Similarly, at the Tara shrine hall, monastics from the school at Thrangu Monastery performed the accumulation of the Tara practice for Rinpoche’s swift return.
