The Venerable Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche came to pay respects to the Kudung of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche

July 15, the Venerable Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche came to pay respects to the Kudung of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. He was warmly received by members of the Parinirvana Puja Committee, led by the Venerable Choje Lama. Dilgo Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche attended one session of the Pema Vajra puja at the main shrine hall, and monastics of Thrangu Monastery made offerings of body, speech, and mind. He then had lunch and went to pay respects to Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Kudung. Later on, at the new residence, he gave an audience for the public.

According to the instructions of His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa, the Venerable Tulku Damcho led the Sangha of Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery to conduct the seventh day of the Pema Vajra practice for the sixth week of the Venerable Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Parinirvana Puja.

Both yesterday and today, the Venerable Lodro Nyima Rinpoche led a group of monastics to conduct the The Embodiment of the Three Jewels (Konchok Chidu) practice at the Tara shrine hall. From 3.30pm to 6pm, the Venerable Choje Lama led a group of monastics to conduct the Vajrasattva of the Secret Essence (Sangtik Dorsem) practice before Rinpoche’s Kudung.

The representative of the Venerable Singha Rinpoche’s dharma center in Singapore came to pay respects and offered a bouquet of flowers. 41 women from Ama Tsokpa in Swayabunath came to pay respects and recited prayers at the Golden Big Buddha shrine hall. 35 devotees from Nyeshang visited and recited prayers and Mani. In addition, 12 members of the Singapore Red Cross, the Mayor and Secretary of Okhaldhunga gaupalika, and many other devotees came to pay respects to the Kudung of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha.
