On May 25, 2023, His Eminence Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche and his retinue arrived in Nepal to visit the very venerable Yongdzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, who is currently admitted at the hospital. The Thrangu Community is deeply grateful for their four days visit.

During His stay, His Eminence would make daily hospital visits to our Very Venerable Rinpoche and bestowed the long life empowerment.

At the Hotel, His Eminence granted an audience to all the senior monks and nuns of Thrangu Monastery; thereafter the senior monks joined Gyaltsab Rinpoche in the ritual for ransoming from impending death.

His Eminence also visited the Kudung of H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul, Kudung of H.E. Pawo Rinpoche. He also visited Venerable Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamsto Rinpoche at his nunnery in Boudha.

His Eminence also made pilgrimage to Boudha Stupa, Swyambhu Stupa, Katha Swayambhu (Shariputra’s stupa), Buddhanilkantha, and Two Armed Mahakala.
