The Annual Thrangu Tsedrup Puja 2025 Completes Successfully

Today (Jun 19), on the final day of the Thrangu Tsedrup Puja, before the precious statue of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, the Very Venerable Choje Lama Rinpoche and the Very Venerable Tulku Damcho Rinpoche led the khenpos, lamas, resident lamas of dharma centers, monastics, and lay devotees to perform the Tsedrup Tabshe Khajor (Longevity Practice: Union of Skillful Means and Insight) sadhana.

Extensive ganachakra offerings were made to the mandala, and the remaining offerings were offered to clear obstacles to life and repay karmic debts, conquering the demons of death. After receiving the blessings and accomplishments, and performing the practice of the dissolution stage, the great assembly recited Lord Marpa’s Song of Auspiciousness, the aspiration prayer by the Eighth Karmapa, the Auspiciousness of the Great Encampment, the aspiration prayer by the Seventh Karmapa, the aspiration “A blaze of good fortune, the ornament of the world…” and so forth. These aspirations and prayers were recited for the flourishing of the teachings in general and in particular the precious teachings of the Practice Lineage. In addition, for the spontaneous fulfillment of the intentions of the great non-sectarian holders of the teachings, for the long life and good health of the patrons of the teachings, for the increase of peace and happiness throughout the world, and especially for the swift and unobstructed return of the supreme incarnation of our root guru, the Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.

The Puja concluded with the procession led by the tulkus, khenpos, and lamas to invite Rinpoche’s statue, which liberates upon sight, back to his residence. Thus, the 19th Thrangu Tsedrup Puja was perfectly accomplished in the three aspects of preparation, actual practice, and conclusion.
May all be auspicious.
