Drikung Kagyu’s Venerable Nubpa Rinpoche and monastics arrived to pay respects to Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Kudung

July 10, the Venerable Kyabje Lodro Nyima Rinpoche led the Sangha of Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery to conduct the second day of the “Pema Vajra” practice for the sixth week of the Venerable Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Parinirvana Puja.

Drikung Kagyu’s Venerable Nubpa Rinpoche and monastics arrived to pay respects to Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Kudung. They were first invited to the main office for tea. Next, before Rinpoche’s Kudung, Nubpa Rinpoche presided over the guru yoga practice which Lodro Nyima Rinpoche, Choje Lama and Tulku Damcho attended. Afterwards, Rinpoche attended a session of the Pema Vajra puja at the main shrine hall; Choje Lama, Tulku Damcho, Dungse Lama Pema Tsewang, and Khenpo Tashi made offerings of body, speech, and mind, and Nubpa Rinpoche’s Labrang also made offerings to the Thrangu Sangha. Rinpoche then had breakfast at the new residence and offered words of advice to Lodro Nyima Rinpoche, Choje Lama and Tulku Damcho. Finally, Nubpa Rinpoche visited the Tiger’s Den (Taktsang) and the Namo Buddha stupa before departing from the monastery.

Likewise, many devotees also came to pay respects to the Kudung of Kyabje Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche at Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, Namo Buddha.
