His Eminence Gyaltsab Goshir Rinpoche, along with His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, arrived at Namo Buddha to attend the cremation ceremony of Kyabje Rinpoche

Today (November 1) His Eminence Gyaltsab Goshir Rinpoche, along with His Eminence Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, arrived at Nepal today in order to attend the cremation ceremony of the Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. They were warmly received by the representatives of various Kagyu monasteries, led by the representative of Tsurphu Labrang Gyaltsen Sonam-la, Kagyu general representative Sotob-la, the head of the Nepal Kagyu Sangh, the head of His Holiness the Karmapa’s Service Society Nepal, and the Venerable Choje Lama from the airport to Namo Buddha.

First, they visited the remains of the palace of prince Mahasattva in nearby Panauti and made prayers and aspirations. They were then grandly welcomed to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery by monastics and lay devotees, headed by the Venerable Zuri Rinpoche, the Venerable Lodro Nyima Rinpoche, the Venerable Tulku Damcho, Chakzo Yonten Gyamtso-la, and the khenpos and lamas. His Eminence Gyaltsab Goshir Rinpoche then made extensive supplications and aspirations before the precious Kudung of Kyabje Thrangu Rinpoche.
